Temple of the Warriors

The temple of the Warriors is very similar to a temple found in Tula. The warriors in Mayan society were at times equal in status to the priest. The Temple of the Warriors is also known as the Temple of the Thousand Columns. These set of columns are 600 feet by 75 feet. This type of architecture using columns, was the first of it's kind in the Mayan areas.
