Uxmal

     Uxmal was a major site of the Mayan between 600 AD to 987 AD. Padrea Antonio de Ciudad Read was the first European to discover the existence of the site in 1558. Uxmal is a well planned city covering a 250 acre site. (Aguiar, 1977)
